The Center of Excellence eBio-hub significantly contributed to the 11th International Conference “Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering & Medical Devices” BIOMMEDD’2026, Brasov, Romania, 2nd - 4th of July 2026. Two plenary talks: “Microfluidics in gene therapy” and “Advanced 3D-Bioprinting for Synthesis of Various Biomedical Devices: from Biomimetic Tissues to Breast Phantoms” were presented by Ciprian Iliescu - ERA Chair of ebio-hub, and Horia Iovu - project director.

The event gathered scientists from biomaterials, medical devices and tissue engineering research and medical practitioners. Round table discussions promoting interdisciplinary research projects and a technical exhibition were conducted concomitantly. The conference also hosted a Young Scientists Forum to promote innovative pedagogical and scientific thinking and communication.
