We were delighted to welcome Prof. Emmanouil Koudoumas from the Hellenic Mediterranean University, Greece, who delivered the lecture: “Living Labs as Open Innovation Ecosystems: Co-Creating Sustainable Agricultural Solutions in the MACCSOIL Living Lab.”
The seminar explored how Living Labs bring together researchers, industry, policymakers, and local communities to co-create innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
Through the example of the MACCSOIL Living Lab in Crete, Greece, the presentation highlighted the integration of smart technologies, digital soil monitoring, precision agriculture, and circular bioeconomy approaches to support sustainable agricultural practices.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for scientific exchange, interdisciplinary dialogue, and exploring new perspectives for research collaboration, reflecting eBio-hub's commitment to connecting scientific excellence with innovation and societal impact.
