eBio-hub Open Investors Day: Advancing Biomedical Innovation - 16 December 2025 - National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest

16/12/2025
On 16 December 2025, the third Open Investors Day event was jointly hosted by the Center of Excellence in Bioengineering (eBio-hub) and MGM Star Construct SRL. The event marked an important step toward building a long-term collaboration focused on innovation, applied research, and technological development in the biomedical engineering domain.

The partnership is founded on a shared vision to bridge fundamental research and industrial application by integrating the advanced scientific know-how of eBio-hub with the extensive technical and operational experience of MGM Star Construct SRL.

Through this collaboration, both institutions aim to enhance research capacity, accelerate the translation of scientific results into practical solutions, and support the development of innovative biomedical technologies and products.

During the event, participants were introduced to the strategic objectives, research directions, and technological infrastructure of both organizations. Presentations were delivered by Dr. Ciprian Iliescu, Director of the eBio-hub Center of Excellence in Bioengineering, and Dr. Arcadie Soberki, Chief Executive Officer of MGM Star Construct SRL. The speakers outlined their respective institutional strengths, experimental platforms, and future development plans, emphasizing the complementary nature of their expertise and resources.

The event brought together approximately 30 attendees, including researchers, professionals, and stakeholders interested in biomedical innovation. Following the presentations, an interactive panel discussion was held, involving the Chair Holder and the CEO, together with the participants. This session encouraged open dialogue, exchange of perspectives, and discussion of potential collaboration pathways, research challenges, and future joint initiatives.

Overall, the event served as a valuable platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and alignment of academic and industrial priorities, reinforcing the role of this partnership as a catalyst for future progress in biomedical engineering.
