A central highlight of the event was the invited lecture “From Scientific Research to Entrepreneurship: The Venture Studio Method” delivered by Dr. George Crețu, Founder of Axiobit Limited and First Chapter Studio. Dr. Crețu presented a comprehensive and engaging overview of the Venture Studio approach, illustrating how structured support systems, multidisciplinary teams, and iterative development methodologies help bridge the gap between laboratory research and market-ready solutions. His talk included real-world examples, practical implementation steps, and guidance for researchers interested in transitioning their scientific results toward entrepreneurship.
The symposium gathered approximately 60 participants, including researchers, industry representatives, innovation managers, early-career scientists, students, and entrepreneurs.
The high level of involvement—reflected in an active Q&A session and vibrant networking discussions—demonstrated the growing interest in innovation-driven collaborations and in translating scientific outcomes into impactful ventures.
The event was widely regarded as a success, reinforcing the role of eBio-hub, together with AOSR, as a catalyst for connecting science with industry and supporting the emergence of knowledge-based startups.
