The hands-on workshop ''Cell Culture Basics'' was organized on October 24-25, 2024, focusing on common skills and regulations for cell culture laboratory practices and was attended by 15 participants. The workshop covered all the relevant notions beginning with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), relevant regulations and directives, and sterile lab techniques, to cell culture testing protocols, experiments and biocompatibility assesments. Participants gained hands-on experience in different cell culture procedures and tests, with step-by-step guidance from our specialized and experienced researchers: Dr. Bianca Tihauan and Dr. Gratiela Gradisteanu.

The event also explored best practices for maintaining cell lines, sub-culturing, and troubleshooting. The comprehensive training aimed to provide participants with the knowledge needed to ensure high standards in cell culture research, from foundational methods to advanced testing.
