The purpose of the Launching Conference was to maximize the impact of the eBio-hub and to rise awareness of the importance of Biomedical Engineering in the scientific community, industry, and in overall day-to-day life.
During the event the Project Director talked about the impact and importance of European funded eBio-hub project in increasing the visibility and the reputation of University Politehnica of Bucharest and Romania in the European Research Area, ERA Chair holder presented the research strategy along with the structural changes generated by the project implementation in the host institution, while other eBio-hub members gave presentations on different research topics related to Biomedical Engineering field as well as talked about the new PhD field foreseen to be developed within the eBio-hub.
