Mihai finished his Bachelor’s degree in 2016 at University of Bucharest, Faculty of Biology focusing mainly on immunology research and vaccine production with afferent potential side effects. He completed the Master’s degree in Genetics and Applied Biotechnology in 2019 focusing on biopolymer (polyhydroxyalkanoates) producing bacteria. In 2023 he obtained the title of Specialist in Molecular Genetics from Ministry of Health, Romania thanks to his activity in clinical environment with diagnostic methods based on polymerase chain reaction technologies (PCR, RT-PCR), next generation sequencing, fragment analysis. Current interests are in cancer research with focus on liquid biopsy, molecular diagnostics, sustainable research and development.
PhD thesis: Colorectal cancer genotyping using circulating tumoral DNA extracts from liquid biopsies
