On 10th of October, the eBio-hub team organized an interdisciplinary workshop ''Bio-Micro-Systems innovation, challenges and future industrial applications'', as part of The International Semiconductor Conference (CAS 2024) held in Sinaia, Romania.

CAS annually gathers researchers, academics, students, and industry professionals to discuss advancements in micro- and nanotechnologies and semiconductor devices.

The workshop organized by eBio-hub featured key field specialists and international speakers who shared their expertise in researching cutting-edge technologies, as:
  - Albert van den Berg (University of Twente, The Netherlands): ''Labs and Organs on Chip for Health - Pavel Neuzil (Brno Technological University & Northwestern Polytechnic University, Xi'an, China): ''Advanced Microcalorimetric Analysis using Stationary Droplets and Flow-through Systems''
- Hayden Taylor (University of California, Berkeley, USA): ''Volumetric additive manufacturing via tomographic reconstruction''
- Yi Zhang (University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China): ''Intelligent Magnetic Soft Millirobots for In Vitro Diagnostics''
- Cornel Cobianu (Translational Research Manager at eBio-hub): ''Carbon Nanohorns-PVP Nanocomposite as Sensing Layer for Resistive Humidity Monitoring: Preliminary Results''

These distinguished speakers brought a wealth of knowledge from globally renowned institutions, ensuring a deep dive into the latest advancements in biomedical engineering systems.
